Just let him grieve, maybe be there for him, make sure he gets to be a kid. Everything is going to be new, and overrwhelming for him. His family didn't have much. Just a basic wooden shack, a few blankets, a stew pot and a bed. Their cupboards were mostly bare. I helped with what I could, without intervening too much. But even still. It was her decision to let fate be fate, it was her belief, and she stood by it. I admire her for that.
